Medical Methods takes part in City Rescue
Mission's 2nd Annual "Bed Race".
On November 19, 2005 Medical Methods employees and volunteers
(including our own Karen Walsh – OT) took part in the
City Rescue Mission’s second annual “Bed Race”. We
were required to build a bed that was capable of supporting
an adult and completing a city block long race in Jacksonville’s
historic San Marco neighborhood. We participated in last year’s
race and learned a few things about how to build and race a
bed. Although we came in second we gave it all we had! The
theme this year was “movies” so we decided to portray
the movie M*A*S*H. We had a great time at the event and
were honored to support such a great cause.
