Clint Drawdy certainly isn't shy when it comes to discussing what motivates him. "My passion is my faith," said Drawdy, president of Medical Methods, a health care staffing company he started in 2004. "I wear it on my sleeve."
Some might question his practices, but Drawdy, 35, said people are often pleasantly surprised about how he runs the business.
Medical Methods' revenue increased by 67 percent in 2006 and he's expecting similar growth this year. He recently started a second staffing company, iMethods. He is a co-owner in parent company Hire Methods.
"Medical Methods will continue to grow," Drawdy said. "The marketplace is wide open for what we do."
He spends most of his time involved with church activities. He's the missions chairman at Christ Church PCA and said one of his goals is to do more mission walks.
Drawdy said his parents were the most influential role models during his youth. "My dad taught me work ethic, honesty, commitment," Drawdy said. "My mom taught me a lot about relationships, that family comes first."
Amy Reese, who nominated Drawdy, said, "Clint has managed to launch a company, continue to grow another and at the same time remain a hands-on father and husband. He has contributed to the First Coast community and is an employer who cares about each one of his employees."
